IFAC offer Compliance and Support services for FCA regulated Financial Services Firms in the UK and worldwide.  Our clients all operate within Retail Financial Services and include IFAs / Restricted Financial Advice Firms, Mortgage Brokers and Consumer Credit.

 

IFAC provides a comprehensive range of Compliance, Training / Competence and Management Services for retail financial services businesses, including audits, T & C, Technical support, advice, courses, file checking and exams.

Job Purpose

The purpose of the role is to help as senior compliance to deliver a comprehensive compliance and support consultancy operation nationwide, whilst also offering support to BAT Software to deliver our Compliance Manager system to IFAC clients and externally.

 

The Compliance Support role will involve working on BAT, (our Compliance Manager system).  You will be expected to do basic tasks in relation to the Compliance Consultancy service offered.  You will also be expected to act to help provide guidance, advice and assistance through the BAT system, like the other IFAC compliance staff and also to work towards selling compliance consultant tools for hundreds of retail financial services firms regulated by the FCA.

This role will evolve, and will include taking on some marketing, administration and operational duties, and selling compliance consultancy tools at scale to the wider financial services community.

 

Main Responsibilities

  •  Working on different projects to build the team by dealing with specific customer queries which will require liaising with other members of the team to build knowledge and practical delivery of solutions to customers.
  • Maintain, administer and upkeep the systems and user interfaces as records of work undertaken.  
  • Liaise with clients on various issues including queries with Compliance and the BAT System
  • Build a team with support services to customers which are varied and may need some analysis and/or awareness of best practice and standards. This can be learnt on the job and requires a proactive attitude
  • To demonstrate the software to end clients and prospects to ensure they have a good understanding of the functionality and more importantly, understand the benefits of adopting auto compliance in their business.
  • To work with Sales to help prospective clients understand the benefits of using IT solutions for compliance, working towards carrying out f2f and remote software demonstrations to the wider financial services community.  
  • Able to answer questions from clients and prospects accurately and professionally, ensuring the benefits of the software are promoted in a positive way.
  • Identify and record product ideas that are derived from various routes, ensuring that compliance can prioritise future product roadmap items.
  • Assist in the continual evolvement of a standard onboarding plan and supporting collateral related to the client adoption of the compliance functionality.
  • Provide feedback to the Executive Team on key blockers to compliance adoption and where appropriate provide feedback to ensure the blockers are eradicated in a timely manner.


 

Qualifications:

  •  Relevant Financial Services Qualifications
  • Current practitioner with sector experience;
  • Confident and up-to-date in subject knowledge

Experience:

5 years experience within Financial Services Sector required

Location: 

Home working/Remote working with ability to travel as required.


Remuneration

Up to £60k, dependent on experience and qualifications
